The Pacific Green Turtle is the only sea turtle that has its home on the Galapagos Islands. If you go in the first part of the year you will be able to find these turtles laying their eggs on the beach.
The Galapagos Islands also contains lot of species of lizards one of which can be found living in the ocean. The others can be found on land eating cactus plants.
You may think it unusual to find penguins on a place such as the Galapagos Islands but they are there. These are the only penguins that you can find near to the line of the equator.
