Politicians of the United States are fond of saying the United States has freedom of the press. However that is only partially true. If there were true freedom of the press, then the truth would get, at least, equal time with the lies, deception and inaccuracy that masquerades as news on television. Generally, government is not your friend when it comes to getting accurate information on any subject. This is especially true of the subject of health issues. Government politicians, bureaucrats, and the media are not the least bit inhibited about lying in order to perpetuate their policies, which have been locked in by bribes from the various agents of the American Medical Association and the other predatory Lobbies.

Bribery has reached mammoth proportions in the United States Congress, one of the most corrupt entities on the face of the earth. Truly honest Senators and Representatives are an extreme minority. You can easily tell who they are; the media do their best to ignore them. Do you remember Ron Paul? The media ignored him until they realized they had scuttled his chance of being President.
Most of Congress will always throw money at the health industry, a clear benefit to their donors, the drug pushers of America. When socialized medicine comes into existence, it will be for the benefit of the drug companies, not for the people. It will turn Medicare into a monster, the likes of which we have never seen.
The mainstream media (and even the so-called fair and balanced media) are fond of quoting the CDC as reporting that there are 36,000 people who die from the flu each year.
This same number has been quoted for several years, year after year. Isn?t it a little strange that the same number of people die from the flu each year? Guess what? There is not an ounce of truth to it! In 2004 there were 1,100 deaths from the flu. Then in 2005 there were 1,806 deaths from the flu. How is it that the CDC and the media get by with lying?
Unfortunately, most people don?t bother to call them on their game. When the CDC comes under pressure by people who know better, it ultimately admits lumping pneumonia together with the flu to come up with the larger number. Pneumonia is not addressed by the flu vaccine. Even the CDC admits that the flu vaccines are worthless against pneumonia. Nevertheless, in order to beef up their statistics, they lump pneumonia and the flu together to come up with the artificially high number.

It is also easier to simply say 36,000. It?s an easy number to remember when advancing the pro-drug propaganda that the CDC and most government health agencies are so fond of.
