Qantas Engine Failure
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on November 14th, 2010
Terror Struck on the 4th of November as a plane engine burst into flames.. As the air bus lifted into the sky Disaster struck as an Engine blew! As the engine started to self combust, bits of Debris and shrapnel fell from the air landing on local buildings and roads. The plane had to call in a May Day distress signal before it returned to Singapore’s national airport. it was a miracle that the engine hadn’t of blown later on into the flight duration as an emergency ocean landing could potentially have been more dangerous. It was a miracle the accident hadn’t occurred late on into the flight where an emergency ocean landing would have been made. the Airbus landed with little problems, no injuries happened to any of the 460 passengers during the whole ordeal. One passenger said “I heard a massive bang like a shotgun was going off! Many of the passengers were shaken up and very scared one said “my whole body was like jelly, I was scared and didn’t know what was going on”. When the engine Exploded the Planes Carriage was filled with screams and Panic, the “Hero” Pilot addressed there terrified Passengers informing them of the problem and what going to occur. The pilot quoted that his passengers were “fantastic” as they didn’t panic and stayed very calm. Qantas has taken its A380’s Planes out of service until the Engine faults have been resolved.

Everyone’s after a bargain these days and holidays certainly don’t come cheap. However, if you follow our tips you’re sure to save time and money on your holiday and have a whale of a time while you’re there. The first thing to consider is the dates of your holiday. Don’t go during school breaks or busy peak periods as popular tourist spots will be busy and expensive. If you’re able to take a holiday outside of peak times, do so.
Would you pay a couple of hundred dollars for a microwave meal and a movie? No? Then why should you pay that amount extra for exactly that with a premium airline? Economy and budget airlines have grown fast to become major players in the airline industry. You can save massive amounts of money by flying with budget airlines while still enjoying practically the same service as you would with a premium airline. After all, a plane’s a plane!
Even if you go to a budget airline and manage to make big savings on the cost of your flight, don’t stop there! Go to a scraper website to try and find even bigger bargains for exactly the same flight. Many different flight brokers and operators give special deals and discounts online and you can save even more money off you flight by using one of these specialized sites. Compare the deals, research the airline and save your cash!
The savings don’t stop with the flights. Once you’ve chosen your accommodation, use another scraper ? this time, a hotel scraper to find the best possible prices and deals for the hotel in which you want to stay. You can compare the prices from many different brokers and agents and find the best possible deal for the period of your holiday. Why should you pay more than you have to? There are massive savings to be had, so have them!
Last, but by no means least, haggle! Once you’ve got your very best price using the tips above, call up the operators and try and get it even cheaper. We Westerners often don’t like haggling, but you can save even more money with a simple phone call, so why would you not? Haggling is an essential part of business in many areas of the world and the practice could stand you in good stead for when you hit those foreign markets on your new bargain holiday!
