Pool Tables : A Buyers Checklist
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Hobbies General on July 15th, 2010
When you are looking at buying a pool table, there are several factors that you should take into consideration…
Size - The size of the table relative to the size of the area into which it will be installed is of the utmost concern. You may very well be able to afford any of the standard 7, 8 or 9 foot tables but if it is too large for the space into which it is to be installed it may not be a wise choice. Consideration must be given to the amount of playing space required around the table. Placing a table in a space that allows inadequate space for making shots with your pool cues will spoil the playing experience.
Slate / Non Slate - You need to consider whether or not you want to invest in a slate table top. This is the hard area that lays directly below the billiards felt and is very important for proper ball play. Slate is the traditional table top of choice because it has been for centuries, but that is not to say that there are not other options available to you. Investigate materials like accuslate. This material is technologically advanced HDF or high density fiberboard. What is nice about this material is that it comes with a fairly good warranty and the balls roll well on it. But if you have the money to spend, then you should definitely go with slate since it is the best surface to play billiards on.
Shipping - If your pool table is going to be shipped, verify the billing for the shipment. Many times the shipping charges can be included in the overall price, other times it is calculated separately. This is also an important factor to keep in mind when comparison shopping in order to get the best deal possible.
Accessories - Now that you have made your choice for the perfect pool table, consider the accessories. Pool balls, ball racks, cue chalk, bridge cues, cue cases and more can individualize your pool table. Do not forget the pool cues, and a rack to go with them. Cue racks can be mounted, standalone or obtain a cue claw.

Top Notch Things In Dubai
Posted by SEO SERVICES in Travel on April 26th, 2010
There are so many things to do in Dubai that it should be irresistible to go on one of those Dubai Holidays. There are so many things to do in Dubai that you are most likely not going to have the time for them all, here are a few suggestions.
Beaches
The great thing about Dubai is that it has some fantastic beaches that are well worth visiting and two of the best are the Jumeriah Beach and the Mamzar beach, I cannot think of anything better than kicking back and enjoying the sands, try out a water sport too.
Shopping
Dubai is massive when it comes to shopping and you will find malls all over the place with the best ones being Emirates and Deira City Centre. Make sure that you realise that shopping here is nothing like shopping in the US and Britain because everything you see there often has no fixed prices at all which is always good.
Water Park
The favourite on the list for me this one and it offers out families a chance to have a bit of fun in water holes, lagoons and cliffs. On top of all of this there is also a tidal pool at the park so make sure you pay the place a visit. You do not have to go with the family as you can go as a couple, there are still plenty of things to be doing.
Hot Air Balloons
Going up in a hot air balloon is simply one of the most amazing experiences anyone could hope to do but going up in one of these over Dubai is even better, check it out for an unforgettable time.
If Dubai still isn’t something you fancy then why not try Egypt Holidays or Barbados Holidays.
