Chrysler Closes Dealerships Along Party Lines - Tips For Anyone

Chrysler closes dealerships along party lines.

Have you heard about all the Chrysler dealerships that are being shut down. Of course you have, who hasn?t? One of the gigantic companies in America is bankrupt, with GM close on it?s heals with the countless job losses to follow.

There will of course be a lot of people looking to point fingers and raise eyebrows with anything to do with this process. Now, we are informed that many of the Chrysler dealerships that are slated to close belong to Republicans, while the ones belonging to Democrats remain open. Is it a case of political payback? Now that Democrats are in office, are they forcing money making Republican dealers out of business while Democratic dealerships remain open?

Of course, that would probably be unconstitutional for our government to do this under the 5th amendment which reads, in pertinent part,:nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just pay .

In fact, until a few days ago, it was impossible to imagine something like this happening in the U.S. Now, people have been started to take a closer look at what has been happening with dealerships as part of the reorganization by Chrysler and GM that have been put forth by Obama’s Auto Czar.

A pattern seems to be emerging some have said, that these kind of things are happening. Of course a lot remains to be seen, as these could all be rumors. It would seem from what I have heard so far though, that among the many dealerships being made redundant, a huge percentage are Republicans or dealers who did not vehemently support Obama. What people are saying is that if you support Obama, you not only keep your current dealership, but you get the huge benefit of the elimination of the other dealers.

Surprisingly, many of the dealerships being shut down were profitable, making people wonder if things political could be causing the closures. If the decision of which dealships to close is being directed by the Car Czar, with GM and Chrysler not being involved in the process, then this would certainly call into question if this whole process is politically motivated.

If all of this is investigated and found to be upheld, then it definitely needs to be investigated further and possibly the congress needs to get involved. I seriously doubt that this has anything to do with political considerations. More than likely, people are just trying to find rationality in the irrational. Sometimes, when a company goes bankrupt , they do stupid things like closing profitable franchises and selling assets for a fraction of their true value. However, I don?t want to discount all the conspiracy theorist who may have a glimmer of truth to their stories. Why not investigate these stories and find out for sure?
